  • Dates (9 pieces, depending on how sweet you want it to be.)
  • Honey or Sugar (optional, Dates already have good sugar levels unless you want more sweetness.)

METHODS TO MAKE ATADWE GINGER DRINK.

  1. Wash your Tigernuts, Ginger, Cloves, and Dates.
  2. Peel your ginger after washing and slice them into pieces.
  3. Now remove the seeds of the Dates. You can open Dates with your fingers and remove the seeds then wash them. Some Dates might have tiny insects living within them. So make sure you open them, remove the seeds and wash them.
  4. Then put the Cloves, Tiger nuts, Ginger, and Dates into a blender and add water.
  5. Now blend the mixture and continue adding water to make it less thick.
  6. Now use a strainer to strain and squeeze the juice from the mixture into a clean bowl.
  7. After straining, use a nut meal bag to strain the juice further to remove any fine or smaller particles.
  8. Now you can transfer your juice into a new clean jar or container.
  9. Shake and serve chilled or with ice cubes.
