Today, SlauBris is making a tiger nut healthy drink. Tiger nuts also known as earth almonds are not really nuts but edible tubers with great nutrition. 

Tiger nut drink is a nutritious drink that contains lots of nutrition that can improve digestion, reduce blood levels of sugar, boost the immune system and improve the heart work.

Let us begin with how to make nutritious Tiger nut juice.


INGREDIENT

  • A Cup Of Tiger nut
  • Coconut
  • Half Cup Dates
  • Ginger

 

METHOD

  1. Place the tiger nuts into a bowl of water and wash them.
  2. Now soak the nuts for 24 hours.
  3. Remove the seeds, wash and clean the dates and chop them into pieces.
  4. Break the Coconut and cut it into small pieces.
  5. Now wash the ginger and remove the skin leaving the fruit, and slice them.
  6. Then drain the Tiger nut and rinse them again.
  7. Put the Tiger nut, Ginger, Coconut, and Dates in a blender and blend them. We are working with a blender, so make sure to add the water. A cup of water is preferred.
  8. After blending the mixture, transfer the mixture into another container using a cheesecloth or a fine sieve to remove the sediments or hard particles.
  9. Place the drink in the fridge to chill.
  10. Serve by pouring it into a glass cup and some ice cubes.
